Abstract

He/she was carried out A descriptive, longitudinal and retrospective study of 37 patients with ocular traumas caused by some infant games, assisted in the Ophthalmology Department of "Dr. Antonio María Béguez Caesar" Southern Pediatric Hospital in Santiago de Cuba during 2012, with the objective of characterizing them according to variables of interest.  In the series the blunt ocular trauma in children from 5 to 9 years, the male sex, the traumatic hyphema as the most frequent lesion and the spinning top as main causal agent prevailed.  It was demonstrated that certain games put in danger the ocular and psychic health of the affected ones exist.
