Abstract

The human and professional qualities of the physician from Santiago de Cuba Hugo Orlando Torres Aldrich, as well as his unconditional support to the Cuban Revolution, are exalted.  He was pediatrician, cardiologist, educator of several generations of physicians, combatant of mountains and plain and tireless expert of medical sciences.  With this work we surrender tribute to this noted personality whose life of valuable devotion to such a beautiful profession, is an example to the graduated students and to the future graduated students from the medicine career.
