Physical reactions in Basic Cycle Medicine students with academic stress

Introduction: The academic stress is a state that takes place when the student perceives the demands of here nvironment negatively. It has been demonstrated that the medicine students experience bigger number of symptoms related with the stress that the general population.
Objective: To determine the frequency in that the academic stress produces physicalreactions in medicine of basic cycle students with low performance academic according to sex.
Method: An observational, descriptical, cross_sectional study was carried out, in under stood period of January to July 2024, in 30 students with low performance academic, they referred to feel nervous. The Cognitive Systemic Inventory was applied (SISCO) of academic stress of Barraza. To the students were requested consent. Inside the analyzed variables it found: the dysfunctions of dream, chronicle fatigue, headaches, digestión problems, to be scratched, to bite the finger nails and to jerkoff .The percentage was used for the analysis of the qualitative data. The statistical validation was carried out applying the test of X2, the results appear in charts where to determine associations among variables was required.
Results: The dysfunctions in the dream and the chronic fatigue prevailed in the female sex with 61.5 %, the femal essuffered with more intensity headaches (76.9 %), they also presented bigger digestión problems, abdominal pains and diarrheas (38.5 %), while the males presented (41.2 %) the reaction of being scratched, to bite the finger nails and to be rubbed. The drowsiness was present in the women's (92.3 %.)
Conclusion: It was verified that most of the physical reactions related with academic stress prevailed in the females.
