Rupture of intramural uterine myoma in an adult patient
Abstract
The case report of an 35 years patient is presented with a history of polymyomatous uterus and symptoms like slight abdominal pain, nausea, and vertigo. She was hospitalized in the Gynecology Department of the Mohamed Boudiaf Regional Maternal and Child Hospital in the People's Republic of Algeria. After two days of hospitalization, an abdominal ultrasound was indicated, which revealed abundant fluid in the uterine cavity. An abdominal puncture was indicated, through which attributable uterine rupture was verified to an intramural fibroid. Emergency surgery was indicated. The patient progressed satisfactorily without complications.
