Implications of Budgetary Control Management for Mental Health
Abstract
Introduction: Budgetary control management for mental health constitutes a key strategy to strengthen work commitment and the well-being of municipal employees, in accordance with the eighth Sustainable Development Goal, which promotes decent work and sustainable economic growth
Results: The responses obtained were common among participants, organized into three moments: initial situation, intervention strategies, and expected effects.
Conclusion: The results evidenced that strengthening mental health has a positive impact on work commitment, by improving staff development, organizational climate, and work flexibility. Adequate municipal public budget management strengthens commitment, the quality of municipal service, and the mental health of workers
