Hip chondrosarcoma in a woman

The case report of a 43 years patient assisted at the Orthopedics Service of "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso” Teaching General Hospital in Santiago de Cuba is presented, due to a volume increase in the right gluteus since a year before. The case was discussed by the members of a multidisciplinary team who decided to carry out excision and biopsy of the tumor. The results of the pathological study reported the presence of a hip chondrosarcoma.
