Abstract

The main characteristics of  "Dr. Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso" Teaching General Hospital  in Santiago de Cuba are described, emphasizing in the training and students' scientific, investigative and professional management in the institution, as well as making known the weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities that affect or favour the achievement of that important strategic objective, which expressed the potentialities of this institution in the solution to the health problems of the territory.
