Competencias digitales y agotamiento mental en docentes adultos mayores peruanos

Introducción: La carencia de destrezas digitales genera agotamiento y afecta la salud mental.
Objetivo: Describir competencias digitales y el agotamiento mental en docentes adultos mayores peruanos.
Métodos: Se estudiaron 27 docentes universitarios mayores de 60 años. Se aplicó una encuesta en línea, siendo validada con el alfa de Cronbach (α = 0,73). Se consideró la prueba Rho Spearman, que arrojó como resultado significativo para la investigación p≤0,05.
Resultados: Solo 48 % de los docentes se considera hábil en herramientas digitales, pero el 70% percibe un impacto negativo en su eficiencia, donde el 78% experimenta agotamiento. Con la escala Likert se valoró insatisfacción. Hubo correlación moderada entre alfabetización digital y agotamiento mental (r = 0,5350, p = 0,0064).
Conclusiones: La brecha digital en docentes mayores afectó su eficiencia y bienestar. La escasa capacitación resalta la necesidad de intervenciones urgentes para reducir el agotamiento y promover el autocuidado.
